If your weight is creeping up or blood sugars trending higher, you’ve likely been told to “watch it for now” or start a prescription you don’t want.
You're not sick, but not thriving either. That’s why I created Zivli—to give you the tools and support I wish more people had before things got worse.
Here’s how it all started… ↓
Diabetes and obesity run in my family, and after having my first child, I struggled to lose weight for the first time in my life. I knew I wanted to get healthy—not just for me, but for my family.
Growing up close to my grandparents inspired me to specialize in geriatrics so I could help others age well and enjoy time with their grandkids, just like mine did with me.
But as a physical therapist, I often felt it was too little, too late. I saw their adult children—now caregivers—heading down the same unhealthy path.
I created Zivli to break that cycle, to give people the tools and knowledge I wish I could have shared with my patients 20 years earlier.
Coming from a home care background, I began with in-person visits around my community.
But I quickly realized my heart was bigger than my time—1:1 work couldn’t create the impact I knew was possible. So I brought what I was teaching online.
Today, with 150,000 YouTube subscribers and hundreds of clients, Zivli has grown into something far bigger than me.
And that’s my favorite part—not just the lives we get to change, but the chance to work alongside such intelligent, compassionate, big-hearted people.
Ziv is the Croatian word for "live," and "li" stands for a low insulin, low inflammation lifestyle. Together they form "Zivli" — living your best life by choosing a low insulin, low inflammation lifestyle.
If you don't make time for wellness now, you'll be forced to make time for illness later.
I worked for years in geriatric physical therapy and my heart broke one too many times. While this work was meaningful and important, I knew God was calling me to help people prevent disease and get healthy so they
—and their families—could enjoy a higher quality of life.
My favorite part of Zivli is leading Emotional Brain Training with our members—this deep mindset work brings me so much joy. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my husband, Justin, and our three kids, who keep our schedules and hearts full.
We live on a farm in rural Nebraska, where we love cheering on the Huskers and Kansas City Chiefs. My Christian faith is central to my life, and I enjoy walking or running outdoors, lifting weights, baking sourdough bread, and spending time at home with my family.
Founder & Health CoacH
After years in traditional physical therapy, I saw firsthand how much chronic diseases can steal from people’s lives, which is why I’m so passionate about prevention and helping others reverse insulin resistance.
While I love seeing our members look and feel their best, my absolute favorite part of this work is celebrating the non-scale victories — having energy for grandkids, living with less pain, and improved confidence that carries into every part of life. Hearing how Zivli is transforming lives never gets old!
When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging out with my husband Brent, our two boys, and our dog in Omaha, NE. We’re always up for an outdoor adventure and traveling to see friends and family. We’re big Notre Dame football fans and love trying new foods and recipes together.
INTEGRATOR & Health CoacH
Being a PT has been one of the most fulfilling roles of my life—alongside being a wife, mother, and now a grandmother. I have been a lifelong athlete and coach, playing volleyball through college and beyond. It brings me joy to stay active with weightlifting, yoga, Pilates, hiking and cycling.
My favorite part about being on Team Zivli is working in the health and wellness space to expand upon my career as a sports and orthopedic physical therapist.
I am a 2x breast-cancer survivor, an experience that has made me passionate about empowering post-menopausal women with lifestyle practices that optimize cellular health, quality of life, and health span.
Health CoacH
As Zivli’s Customer Service Manager and a PN L1 certified nutritionist, I’m passionate about making sure every member feels supported, valued, and empowered in their health journey.
My favorite part of the job is walking alongside people as they make positive, lasting changes in their health. This journey is deeply personal, which makes supporting others especially meaningful to me.
When I’m not cheering on our community, you’ll probably find me outside in nature, relaxing at the beach, shopping the local farmer’s market, or on the patio with a cup of coffee and a good book.
